Entomological drawers

The main purpose of the drawers made in our workshop is to isolate delicate collections from the external conditions.
We achieved this tightness thanks to a careful choice of material, a very precise treatment and frequent controls of quality at every step of production. We use mainly lime wood (lac.Tilia) for our production, but we can also make drawers with other varieties of wood, if desired.

For this reason you get a ready, aesthetic product with excellent technical parameters. It assures you of preserving precious and delicate collections in ideal conditions.
Conventionally, you get the drawers with grooves for easy opening, a legible number, a handle as well as a cardholder.
We can line the drawers with foam or fill them up with cardboard trays of different dimensions, if you wish.

At this moment we make different types of drawers for different museums, among others, Hills Style (for Liverpool), with removable slat inside (for Cardiff, Glasgow), double groove (for London). We shall make every kind of drawers, in every dimension which will match the cabinets and sets of drawers already in your possession if you order them.

Collection Cabinets

We elaborated a model of cabinet which can preserve the entomological collections in drawers. For runners we take advantage of metal profiles (L-shape runners) which allowed us to limit the cabinet dimensions to a minimum. We make cabinets with plate materials with differently finished surfaces. The cabinet doors are equipped with a multipoint lock and are protected with a sealing tape.
The number of places for the drawers is free and depends on the person who orders them.

We introduced, as an alternative to metal storehouse cabinets, the cabinets made with HPL plates with high mechanical properties, reduced combustibility, resistant to humidity and to reagents. They are an ideal solution for preserving collections.
